George Boys mentioned as joint executor of John Blechynden's will The Blechynden family name appears in English records as early as the reign of Edward I when Nicholas Blechynden was in possession of the Manor of QUARINGTON, Mersham, Kent. It remained in the family until 1603, and other lands and manors which they had acquired through marriages: Ruffins Hill retained until 1677, and Sinnells Manor remained within the family until 1715.
