will in which the youngest son John, widowed at this stage, inherited the
bulk of the estate with the responsibity of caring for his mother.

John had several brothers and sisters. One brother, James Wills Sambell,
came to South Australia in 1846 and is responsible for many Australian
descendants in all 3 southern mainland states. Another brother, Benjamin
has a descendant, Frank, living in Hexham, England, close to Hadrian's wall.
